Pope's Chapel Christian Church was established on August 7, 1876.Some time later Pope's Chapel Christian Church joined the Southern Conference of the United Church of Christ and became known as Pope's Chapel United Church of Christ. The church is located at 70 Popes Chapel Drive Franklinton, North Carolina~Pocomoke Road.
